About Us
Todd Raufeisen is not simply a developer – he brings decades of experience finding opportunities others overlook and structuring each project around the client’s goals. As President and CEO of Dirt Dog, Todd leads projects from site selection and acquisition through approvals, construction, leasing, and completion.
Through fee development, Todd helps property owners who are not developers unlock the value of underutilized real estate. He provides the expertise, industry connections, and hands-on execution needed to transform a promising property into a viable, income-producing commercial asset.
Todd also leverages strategic brokerage relationships to support leasing for multi-tenant developments. His equity relationships provide added flexibility, allowing Dirt Dog to act as a merchant developer or partner with tenants and investors focused on long-term ownership rather than a sale dependent on a projected exit cap rate.
Jonathan Thompson is an attorney specializing in real estate development, with extensive experience supporting retail projects and complex commercial transactions. He provides legal and strategic guidance across the development process, including lease negotiations, purchase and sale agreements.
His background extends beyond traditional real estate law, having previously served as a construction superintendent and held management and counsel roles within real estate development companies. This combination of legal and hands-on construction experience gives Jonathan a practical, detail-oriented perspective on the challenges of bringing projects from concept to completion.
A graduate of Harvard Law School, Jonathan combines legal strategy with business and development priorities to help navigate complex transactions, strengthen partnerships, and deliver successful outcomes for clients and projects.
